Formulating a Sustainable Growth Agenda - The Experience of Slovenia

Slovenia has often been considered “a success story” of transition; the country’s early economic performances were satisfactory and the social costs of transition were rather low. The paper summarizes pre-independence and postindependence economic policy and the systemic changes that affect the current situation and the sustainability of growth.
